Through a carefully constructed and controlled group of subsidiary companies, we are able to directly manage component materials and construction stages and thus provide competitive prices and prompt delivery.

ISL have held formal accreditation to ISO 9001 for over a decade, and through their commitment to this international standard, have provided their customers with quality in design, manufacture, supply, installation and after sales service.

The Group's client reference list is arguably one of the largest in our industry and has been achieved through diligent customer care. It covers many major national and international OEM, contractor and end-user companies within the general industrial, power generation, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil & gas and HVAC industry sectors.

THE ISL GROUP - A Brief History

Isolated Systems Ltd were incorporated over 30 years ago and have become one of the country's longest established and respected noise and vibration control engineers. They have their own in-house design and manufacturing facilities and have been accredited to ISO 9001 (formerly BS 5750 Pt.1) since the mid 1980's. The company offers acoustic control of airborne and structure borne noise using their attenuation equipment, vibration isolation of mechanical equipment using their range of anti-vibration mounts and hangers and flexible connections for ductwork and pipework systems.

In addition to noise and vibration control, the company has also become one of the market leaders in thermal expansion control and have a solid client base in the power generation industry and in particular, the gas turbine generation sector. The company designs and manufactures the Isoflex range of high temperature fabric expansion compensators. To compliment this product range, the company also offer the Maxi range of flexible duct connectors and the Isoflex multi-layer seal to provide expansion compensation over a temperature range of -55 degC to +1000 degC.

During more recent years, the company has strengthened its position by the careful development of a synergistic group of subsidiary companies, partly by establishment and partly by acquisition. The backdrop to this strategy is a considerable customer base, built over the company's many years in business.

Prilex Ltd: is a small specialist fabric coating company based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. In addition to an established customer base of its own, they provide the various coated fabrics which are part of Isolated Systems' range of products.

Airmark Systems Ltd: is a metal fabrication company based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. As with Prilex Ltd, Airmark have their own client base but in addition, they play an important role in the work of ISL's acoustic product team, building acoustic enclosures, acoustic louvres and sound attenuators.

MCL Unitex Ltd: based on the same site as their parent ISL, are specialist passive fire protection engineers serving the worlds hydrocarbon industries both on and offshore. The team of engineers design and test enclosure and seal systems and manage manufacture and material selection through their sister companies ISL and Prilex Ltd.
